Dark patches and spots on face may occur due to reasons like over exposure to sun, pollution, ageing, hormonal factor etc. Here are two home remedies to get rid of blemishes, dark patches and spots from your face.

Aloe Vera Gel & Olive Oil

Take 1 tablespoon of fresh Aloe Vera Gel in that add half tablespoon of Olive oil and mix both the ingredients together. Apply this mask before going to bed on your face and neck, concentrating more on the affected area, leave it for 20 minutes and wash it with the water. Apply Aloe Vera Gel & Olive Oil mask daily before going to bed. Aloe Vera Gel has antioxidant in it, which helps to get rid of blemishes. It also helps to reduce dark patches from the skin. Olive oil is rich in nutrients, antioxidant and also has anti-inflammatory properties in it, which helps to make the skin clear and blemish free. Olive oil also helps to treat skin darkening.

Neem Leaves (Indian Lilac) & Potato

First take some Neem leaves and blend it in a paste foam then grate the Raw Potato and blend that also into paste foam. Now take 1 tablespoon of Neem paste in that add 2 tablespoon of Potato paste and mix both the ingredients nicely. Apply this face pack on your face and neck concentrating more on the affected area, leave it for 15 minutes and wash it with the water. Lastly apply a good moisturizer. Apply Neem leaves & Potato face pack thrice a week before going to bed for best result. Neem leaves has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties in it, which helps to soothe skin inflammation. Neem leaves paste treats blemishes as well as acne. Potato paste will help to lighten dark spots and dark patches.
